Senior Asset Compliance Manager
We own and/or manage nearly 7,500 homes across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. We are financially strong with a turnover of £47m and an operating margin of 25%. Our development pipeline is to provide a further 1,100 over the next 5 years including land acquisition for our own developments. We have 210 colleagues and our head office is in Bracknell.
Your role will be to work across the assets & growth directorate to manage the compliance of contractors and consultants commissioned to undertake work on behalf of the association.
You will take operational responsibility for delivering compliance with landlord obligations on various workstreams, you will ensure the right programme of inspections, surveys and checks are carried out and that resulting remedial programmes are delivered in a timely manner, with accurate certification against validated stock data.
You will be the designated Building Safety Manager, in line with the proposals set out in the draft Building Safety Bill 2020.
You will be working with colleagues to provide direction on the management of risk and ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance by the association’s contractors. You will also oversee the management of insurance claims for the planned works team and manage the facilities management function for the business.
