The Resident Recruitment and Development Lead will help implement the Resident Involvement Strategy, encouraging and enabling residents to influence services and improve the business.

You’ll have a fantastic opportunity to lead the recruitment of a diverse range of residents into resident involvement, co-creation and scrutiny opportunities.

You’ll design and implement a recruitment, induction and development plan which ensures we’re recruiting the right residents, with right skills at the right time. 

By designing and delivering high quality training for residents, you’ll equip them with the knowledge and confidence to participate fully.  Maximising the retention of residents involved within Optivo and the resulting impact they make.

What you'll need

You’ll have transferable experience of leading and planning successful recruitment, training and development activities for volunteers, residents, colleagues or other customers.

This role will involve facilitating a range of meetings, events and training activities. You’ll need to have prior experience of designing and delivering training sessions and a track record of supporting the development of others.

You’ll have experience of working with a wide range of customers and have an in-depth understanding of different customer needs, interacting in a fully inclusive way. The ideal candidate will have a positive “can do” attitude, the ability to work within a team and positively contribute to team activities and priority objectives.
