The Role and Person

  • 12 Month Maternity Cover
  • 35 hours  

Accent Group are recruiting for a Recruitment Coordinator to support the People Team during the Resourcing Advisor’s period of Maternity Leave. As Recruitment Coordinator your core role and focus is all about attracting talented people and maintaining our employer brand whilst delivering our Corporate Strategy and reducing cost per hire.

You will provide an efficient, accurate and streamlined service to the business with regard to all recruitment and resourcing-related matters. This role has a wide remit and the top of the agenda is finding great candidates whose attitude and experience matches Accent’s values and culture.

You’ll need to be passionate when it comes to sourcing great people (active and passive candidates), and have excellent attention to detail, as well as being able to work collaboratively with the People Team and wider business.

It is essential that you have worked within an in-house / internal recruitment function.

 

As Recruitment Coordinator you will: 

  • Promote Accent as an employer of choice
  • Source candidates through various channels including job boards, networking groups, social media and headhunting
  • Produce job adverts, screen applicants and schedule interviews
  • Conduct appropriate methods of screening, including CV sifting and telephone interviewing for volume roles, as well as face to face and virtual interviewing
  • Ensure feedback is provided to all candidates within the timeframes agreed in Accent’s Recruitment Policy
  • Build and develop a talent pipeline of candidates
  • Ensure every candidate whether successful or not has a positive impression of Accent
  • Providing an internal recruitment advisory service
  • Liaise and work closely with Accent’s People Business Partners to establish recruitment requirements for the business
  • Manage and maintain the Recruitment Agency relationship with our Preferred Suppliers
  • Ensure that Accent’s stakeholders adhere to our Recruitment Policy surrounding Recruitment Agencies with the support People Business Partners
  • Ensure Accent Colleagues adhere to the Recruitment Policy
  • Ensure that every recruitment process at Accent is open, honest and fair
  • Maintain quality administration including vacancy postings and provision of reporting and dashboard information for vacancies
  • Manage vacancies and administration using the recruitment system
  • Build effective relationships with hiring managers, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Update monthly recruitment reports
  • Being a point of contact for any recruitment queries from the wider People Team
  •  

The must haves

  • Previous experience within Internal Recruitment
  • Experience of managing a PSL
  • Effective sourcing understanding and capability; experience of fully utilising ATS system(s), proven track record in utilising creative and effective ways to source and engage the calibre of candidates we wish to attract directly
  • A background of resource planning/liaison with line managers
  • Involvement in planning/attending open days/careers events
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of different audiences
  • Highly accurate and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the team and external stakeholders to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet key deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse problems and propose effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel - VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Discretion and confidentiality is a must
  • Someone who develops and shares skills, experience and knowledge
  • A consistently high performer who thrives on challenges, leads and inspires
  • Open, honest and take ownership of situations
  • A keen eye to value for money and able to deliver
  • You’ll be adept at change, having got hands on experience living and breathing new ways of working and knowing how to bring your colleagues along for the experience

 

Location

Due to current circumstances this role will be based remotely from home.

At Accent we’re a keen promoter of agile working, and encourage the use of working from home as our new way forward.

 

Salary

£25,000 - £27,000
