We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning Operative (3 posts) to join our Environmental Services team.

Working as part of a team to deliver a wide range of landscape maintenance and improvement works, communal cleaning and pest control the Grounds Maintenance and Cleaning Operative will undertake site-based grounds maintenance and horticultural related tasks to Onward specifications and agreed timescales as well responsive ad-hoc work such as fly tip removal.

In addition, undertake site-based cleaning of communal areas, carrying out pest control and hazardous substances and waste management, ensure that all works reporting and safety procedures are followed and record keeping is accurate and undertake routine maintenance checks of plant, equipment and machinery.

In order to be successful you should have previous experience in a similar role, excellent customer service skills, the ability to follow procedures and provide performance data of operations and have recognized grounds maintenance competencies (NPTC, LANTRA), to include: Pedestrian mower, Ride-on mower, Hedge cutters, Leaf blower.

The base location for this role is Accrington.
