You will be working  as  an  integral  member  of  our  maintenance  team  and  will  provide  soft  and  hard  landscaping,  estate,  garden  maintenance  and  arboriculture  services  to  all  customers.

 About  our  team

You?ll  be  working  as  part  of  our  fabulous  Yorkshire  Landscape  team  who  are  passionate  about  delivering  a  first-class  maintenance  solution  to  our  customers.    Our  national  grounds  maintenance  manager  Richard  has  worked  here  at  Home  Group  for  almost  2  years  now,  having  worked  in  various  grounds  maintenance  roles  for  over  15  years.

You?ll  be  part  of  a  team  of  6,  newly  formed  last  year,  and  will  work  for  our  Landscape  Garden  Team  Leader  Stewart  who  has  worked  in  the  team  for  over  12  years.

Where  you  will  work

You?ll  work  across  Yorkshire  with  regular  travel;  our  estates  are  dispersed  around  the  region  however  you  will  have  specific  accountability  for  an  estate.  The  great  news  is  that  you  will  have  the  flexibility  of  being  based  from  home  (instead  of  travelling  to  a  depot)  and  we?ll  give  you  all  the  kit  needed  to  make  that  easy,  including  a  vehicle  (for  work  use).

 About  you

You?ll  have  experience  in  soft  landscaping  and  grounds  maintenance,  holding  a  City  and  Guilds  Part  1  or  NVQ  Level  1  Landscaping  or  Horticultural  qualification  or  equivalent.    You?ll  have  a  good  understanding  of  health  and  safety  and  be  able  to  use,  service  and  maintain  gardening  machinery.

 You?ll  be  very  reliable,  comfortable  managing  your  own  time  and  comfortable  working  both  on  your  own  and  as  part  of  a  team.    You?ll  be  focussed  on  delivering  grounds  maintenance  and  gardening  to  a  high  standard  with  real  eye  for  detail  and  quality.  You?ll  be  working  with  a  hive  of  activity  going  on  around  you  and  you  will  be  working  within  our  customer  communities.
