Job Details
The Role
You will be responsible for providing a highly visible, effective and, above all, proactive role. The service you deliver will incorporate regular estate inspections and measures to address any issues. It’s about getting to really know the tenants – some of whom may be vulnerable or have issues with anti-social behaviour – and become a trusted member of the community. You’ll make great connections with other organisations who can support you along the way – from local authority community planning to the police.
Join the Housing Management Team and put our customers at the heart of everything you do, offering a first class tenancy and estate management service within a defined community. That means delivering front-line elements of Housing and Environmental Management, Community & Tenancy Support and Community Safety & Cohesion.
What we’re looking for…
If you don’t come from a Housing Management background, you’ll certainly have experience of working closely with the community in often sensitive situations. An NVQ Level 3 or BTEC National Certificate or equivalent is also essential.
We’re looking for someone who understands the nature of community support and the issues our tenants are likely to face. Brilliantly organised and a fantastic communicator who can really build trust and negotiate effectively, you’ll be able to prioritise your workload effectively and bring an innovative approach to the role.
