We're seeking a motivated and inspirational Senior Development Manager to be responsible and accountable for the Development Management of residential lead and mixed-use developments undertaken by Clarion Housing Group and to ensure they meet the commercial objectives defined in the relevant approvals / business plan.

Whilst leading your own projects, the role will also involve the management of Development Managers or Assistant Development Managers. Working closely with and reporting to the Development Director and other Development Functions, the role has a primary focus post site acquisition through to successful planning permission.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record working at Senior Development Manager level with a range of real estate industry experience including extensive residential experience, as well as:

  • Substantial experience leading the planning process to successful outcome
  • Substantial experience in managing commercial appraisals to deliver commercially viable projects
  • Substantial experience in managing the design of residential product
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively managing a team
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Motivated by delivering sustainable, safe and high quality homes
