Southern Housing Group are looking for an apprentice who will join an exciting and dynamic team within a growing and forward thinking organisation.

As a care and apprentice you will gain experience of working in a variety of care and support settings, helping people with mental health problems, learning disabilities, older people and people with physical difficulties, as well as working with our housing management team. The role includes assisting people with general life skills, personal care, sustaining a home and maintaining independence and accessing community activities. 

The role will be based from our new scheme in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable person, aged 17 years or above, who is able to work 35 hours a week over 7 days. You must be willing and able to train towards an apprenticeship standard for Adult Care Worker Level 2 and attend additional relevant training as required for the duration of the apprenticeship.
