The affordable housing component of all our schemes is one of the key components to successful outcomes. As the business grows, and to keep up with a changing market, we are looking for someone to join our team to assist in the planning and delivery of affordable homes across our developments in England.
This role will underpin and absorb much of the day-to-day tasks required to keep this important Group Function working well. Reporting to the Affordable Housing Manager you will be involved in helping our land teams research local planning policies, work with our network of registered providers to build long-term relationships of depth and trust, coordinate tender processes, oversee the implementation of contractual agreements and manage our affordable housing contract database’s.
A background in the affordable housing provision, whether in development or working with occupiers of affordable housing, would be preferable but not essential. We are seeking to recruit someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn through job experience and keen to develop their knowledge about the affordable housing industry.
We wish to employ an excellent rapport builder and someone who is confident to meet new people to discuss their business needs. The role also involves managing and analysing complex information and the successful candidate will be able to interpret and present such information in a clear and concise format which will require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are a small team of which will become a vital member, but you will also need to be able to work with our regional offices daily. There will also be occasions where you will need to work independently from a variety of locations and take ownership for your workload.
