Estate Strategy & Services Manager
Are you experienced in dealing with Managing Agents to ensure quality and services standards are met and the customer receives value for money in their service charge? If so then we're looking for an Estate Strategy & Services Manager to join our Customer Experience team in Croydon. This role is a key position to ensure the right strategy, relationships and processes are in place for the effective management of our privately managed estates across the country. As the Estate Strategy & Services Manager you'll ensure the approach takes into account different types of building/scheme ownerships of the estates and tenures occupying those properties. Driving the quality and standards we need for our private and shared ownership customers in our Development directorate.
Some of the other key duties include:
Create and implement the strategy for Managing Agents across our estates for new build schemes
Embed a framework of Managing Agents for use across the country, ensuring we select the right partner for new sites
Ensure processes are in place for efficient management of the agents on new sites
Ensure quality and services are delivered to a high standard and an audit programme is in place to ensure quality and standards are met during the defect liability period and whilst we complete on all sales activity at the scheme.
Development and delivery of an estate wide inspections on new and private sites
Analysis of existing approaches and make recommendations for improvement and efficiency
We are looking for individuals with a strong desire to drive high standards for our customers with a background in or full understanding of Managing Agents responsibilities and operations.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you come to us with experience in estate management, been a Director on a ManCo/RMC and have experience working within Property Management. You'll have a thorough understanding of freehold, leasehold and Section 106 agreements. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are a key requirement as well as a strategic logical approach to tasks.
