Full time Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months
This role requires an individual who has turnaround management experience within the Health & Social Care sector. The applicant must have an understanding of the requirements to support adults with learning disabilities in supported housing. You will be responsible for day to day running of the support service we provide. Providing an excellent level of customer service and ensuring that all regulatory and contractual commitments are met.
You will be taking the lead in implementing the turnaround action plan working with the service Registered Manager and Operations Manager at the home to ensure that the agreed turnaround action plan is delivered on time.
As you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and business requirements you must also demonstrate significant experience within a CQC registered scheme and the associated standards. In addition you will be effectively managing staff, service budgets and other resources to ensure commercial viability. This should all be evidenced on your CV.
This is a flexible assignment. The number of days worked could possibly include evenings/weekends/bank holidays to ensure that the changes to the service that are being made are getting embedded with all parts of service delivery.
This is a 6 month fixed term appointment and may result being a co-managing role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, previous experience with supporting quality turnaround or as a CQC Registered Manager who has improved the care quality rating is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate knowledge gained in previous positions as well as suitable qualifications relevant to the sector. You will be able to influence the future success of our business, therefore, we are seeking individuals with drive and ambition to deliver excellence.
This is supporting an established team in delivering our service to customers with various learning disabilities. As the expert in the area, it is essential that you can demonstrate significant knowledge of this customer group and how to positively support a team to deliver the support required.
The nature of this role means that the post holder will be involved in regulated activity with vulnerable adults. To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
