Assistant Project Manager (new build development)
Medway Development Company was created by Medway Council to deliver high quality private and affordable homes and return profits to the council. The company has exciting plans to deliver 700 new homes within five years to regenerate neighbourhoods and an Assistant Project Manager is needed to drive forward the delivery of early sites.
You will provide project management support on a range of high-profile new build housing projects. You will assist at all stages of the development process from inception to completion. This will include conducting regular site visits and quality checks to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to budget and meet statutory requirements. You will also be involved with sales and after care.
Ideally you will have experience with New Build Housing, with a proven ability to work individually and within a small team, that links with wider contacts such as the Council, Contractors and professional delivery teams.
The successful candidate should have:
- A good understanding of residential construction and sector.
- The ability to work as part of a small team with demanding targets.
- A ‘can do’ proactive approach and attitude.
- An ability to communicate effectively.
- An ability to use computer software programmes, such as Word, Excel etc.
- An ability to keep accurate records.
