Wandle owns over 7,000 homes across nine south London boroughs with strong, diverse and vibrant communities and benefiting from a strong asset and financial base.

A number of our Board members’ terms of office are due to expire over the next six months and so we are currently looking for four exceptional individuals to help shape our growing business. By applying your strategic skills and experience, gained either on a board or working at a senior level, you will provide the challenge and support necessary to ensure our future high performance, sound management and governance, and strategic direction.

We are particularly looking for members with experience in the following:

• Treasury, probably from the private sector you should have a strong understanding of treasury operations, debt management and asset finance.
• Finance, a qualified accountant, ideally with background in housing or a related sector. It is anticipated this individual will also be Chair of the Audit Committee.
• Housing Management/Asset Management – ideally from the social housing sector with either experience in housing services or repairs and maintenance and investment, or a combination of both. Experience of the digitalisation of services would be useful.
• Property Development - a residential property development professional, with experience and understanding of the development cycle from site acquisition through to planning, design, construction and marketing.
