Senior Property Manager – Fire
Fixed term contract until March 2022
What you'll do
If you’d like to make a difference to our residents’ safety and be the operational lead manager for the management of blocks and estates with high levels of demand generated by the need to address fire safety issues, then join Optivo as a Senior Property Manager - Fire.
This is a specialist property management role where you’ll be dealing with blocks and estates where there are fire safety works issues including the need to undertake major remedial works e.g. cladding. You’ll act as the co-ordinator as needed between Property and Asset Management, Service Charges and Income teams and Home Ownership Property Manager and General Needs Housing teams to help ensure that there is coherent progress towards remediation with clear communication to our residents.
What you'll need
You’ll ideally be educated to degree level equivalent or have the ability to operate at that level. Ideally you’ll be a member of the IRPM or RICS and/or have extensive leasehold block management experience including managing blocks in mixed tenure environment.
You’ll be highly motivated and outcome-driven able to work with minimum supervision often under pressure. You’ll be able to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders using your influencing and negotiation skills to deliver to a high standard for Optivo and residents. A good understanding of building technology and the issues arising from the changes to building fire safety and experience of developing goal orientated strategies and of meeting targets will also be essential. You’ll have effective communications and influencing skills, both oral and written with strong IT skills including experience of using property management MIS.
