In your role as Development Accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy and quality of accounting records for the Development (Counties) team.

What we’re looking for:









  • Hold a recognised UK Accountancy qualification (such as a member of the CCAB or CIMA)?

  • Experience in Social Housing or Housing Construction.

  • Business Partner experience of preparing monthly management accounts, regular forecasting and budgets including group consolidation.

  • Are you a team player who can collaborate and manager others to ensure the smooth and fluent delivery of an efficient financial service?

We currently have a great opportunity for a Development Accountant to join us on a permanent basis.









Do you have what it takes?









To succeed in your role as a Development Accountant you will:









  • Prepare management accounts for the Development division, writing insightful and meaningful monthly commentary for Group management accounts.

  • Meet with strategic budget holders on a monthly basis to feedback on analysis and conclusions drawn.

  • Lead on the budget and forecasting process for Development (Counties) division.

  • Keep up to date with developments in housing and Housing Associations particularly, but not exclusively, with legislation affecting housing finance.

  • Develop and monitor financial procedures and best practises and deliver to tight deadlines.

  • Carry out extensive performance analysis and ensure group policies/procedures are followed.
