This Role
This is a Full-time Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, within the People Ops Team that supports Central Customer Services. It is a great opportunity to get involved and truly help shape the experience offered as we embed our direction, team culture, and way of working through the period of change.
You will be supporting the recruitment coordinator during a time of considerable change within customer service. You will be pivotal to ensuring that all recruitment administration is provided in a professional, customer-focused manner to ensure all applicants are dealt with fairly and effectively.
As during this time, several colleagues will be going through a change programme and you will not only be responsible for helping with external recruitment. As critically important is to support all the activities for internal candidates, namely those who may be at risk of redundancy. This will include scheduling of interviews; preparing interview packs for managers; and ensuring all paperwork is retained in line with GDPR.
What you will need to succeed
This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator or external recruiter to get experience in-house with a busy HR team. Alternatively, if you are an experienced Recruitment Administrator, this will provide the opportunity to support a large internal Change programme and gain exposure to some general HR administration. You must be confident with managing your own workload and be able to prioritise competing tight deadlines. You must be highly organised and have the confidence to learn new internal HR systems.
Working in HR, the integrity of data is critical so, you should be able to demonstrate that you take pride in the work you produce, and you are able to accurately maintain data and produce high quality letters.
At MTVH, our core values are that we care, dare, and collaborate so, we will expect you to be customer focused and thrive when working in partnership with others.
Due to the high volumes of applicants, we are currently receiving, we will be interviewing throughout the process. If we find a suitable applicant before the closing date, we will close this role early, so please do not delay in completing your application.
About Us
Our organisation was built on a simple mission – to give people a safe, secure, and affordable home. That is as true today as it was in the 1950’s, when our founder Molly Huggins established on organisation to provide homes for Windrush migrants in London. Our core purpose I that “everyone should have a home and the chance to live well” To fulfil this vision, we work with partners to make our neighbourhoods – new and old - sustainable and vibrant places, where our customers want to live. We put people at the heart of everything we do and to guide is in every decision we make. Through managing more than 57,000 households we work at a scale that means our actions to achieve this have real impact.
We firmly believe that by serving people better every day, we will support a healthier, better cared for, and more prosperous society in the future. Like our founders before us, we will leave a lasting legacy for future generations. Our colleagues are crucial to our success in achieving this. Therefore, we are committed to investing in colleagues and creating the opportunity for them to develop. Our working environment has been designed to be one that brings out the very best in people.
