Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Strategic Lead for Sustainability will lead on carbon reduction, energy and sustainability to ensure that we meet our carbon reduction requirements by 2050 and contribute successfully to our commitment to Greater Manchester’s target of net zero carbon by 2038.

This will involve leading on a cross business plan, developed in consultation with our members, tenants and employees, to drive carbon reduction and improve the quality of life.

The successful candidate will act as an expert sustainability advisor, with experience of engaging with communities to understand their requirements, knowledge of how technology options can deliver value and an awareness of funding channels to support carbon reduction and environmental sustainability.

You will have experience of business planning, budgeting and identifying funding opportunities with the ability to lead this area of work, acting as an ambassador for RBH and fully participating in corporate leadership across the society.
