We have a fantastic opportunity for a Strategic Change Delivery Manager to join our team in Westminster. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £57,500 - £62,500 per annum.

About the Strategic Change Delivery Manager role:

You will work closely with the HOS and Group PMO Manager to ensure our change initiatives relate to and deliver the Group Strategy through business planning and quarterly assurance.

Responsibilities of our Strategic Change Delivery Manager:

- Developing and encouraging a change enabled business through regular stakeholder engagement, proactive management of the programmes and projects and development of working practices
- Leading and managing the Peabody Project Managers Community of Practice, ensuring that the frameworks and governance are rolled out across the organisation and inducting new Project Managers across the organisation
- Leading a team of Project Managers, guiding and supporting them in the successful delivery of change
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders to understand their needs, and developing programmes and projects that meet desired outcomes
- Taking a lead role in working with operational managers aiming to embed changes within the business
- Problem-solving and providing advice to Project Boards and Sponsors with appropriate interventions when required or when projects are struggling with delivery
- Following the project lifecycle and governance as set by the organisation
- Ensuring that business stability is maintained during transition and that the changes are effectively embedded into the organisation
- Appraising delivery and project outcomes in order to improve project and change management processes
- Supporting directorates in understanding their work and how to prioritise and sequence outside of the portfolio
- Working with IT and the organisation to ensure that resources are recruited when required to deliver our large change programmes
- Helping develop and maintain dynamic portfolio plans and dashboards that communicate to the Exec/Change Management Team progress against the corporate strategy and KPIs
- Creating a detailed portfolio master schedule for the organisation and managing milestones with the Portfolio Analyst

As our Strategic Change Delivery Manager, we are looking for:

- Experience with a varied scale of organisational change effort, both strategic and operational
- Experience and knowledge of project and change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Clear knowledge of effective performance and resource management, and understanding principles for how to get the best out of people
- Good knowledge and experience of different project management methodologies, tools and techniques and when/how to best apply them
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- The ability to demonstrate commercial awareness, a robust understanding of the financial implications of change and business case preparation
- The ability to critically analyse opportunities and create innovative solutions to suit future business needs
- Experience of working with a strategic portfolio that delivers an organisations strategic priorities
- A good understanding of practical tools and techniques in the areas of portfolio, programme management, project management, change management and facilitation
- A proven record of preparing and delivering accurate and high quality written and verbal reports and proven attention to detail
- A proven track record of building and managing effective relationships with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Experience of working cross-functionally with diverse groups to support them through times of change
