This is a highly visible role within our organisation where you will be advising the Executive Committee and Senior Management teams on complex legal matters, therefore first class interpersonal and communication skills and a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas are essential.

You will be a strong people manager who can evidence leading a specialist legal function within a large, complex organisation.   Your direct reports will include 3 specialist Lawyers and a wider team of c. 20-30 so it is essential that you have experience of managing and mentoring staff of varying skill levels and abilities.  As part of this you will also provide the strategic direction of the team in order to foster an effective culture of professional development and training and a performance focused environment for staff to grow and develop.
