Do you have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a complex client caseload and good knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act 1996 part VII? If yes, we want to hear from you
We have an exciting and challenging role within the Housing Needs Department where you’ll be responsible for managing a caseload for clients requesting housing assistance; Investigate circumstances in all three stages of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017, resolve your client’ homelessness and make decisions of a legal nature and assess the need for interim accommodation.
You’ll be required to work a wide range of organisations or individuals and employ measures that fit the needs of your client and where possible resolve their homelessness.
About you
This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills both written and verbal to be able to deal with a wide range of clients and customers, including those with demanding/ challenging behaviour.
We are looking for someone that have the ability to interpret financial data, maintain accurate data and report statistical performance information and data.
You’ll need good planning and organisational skills to effectively plan, prioritise, manage and organise own workload; also the work of others e.g. in relation to multi-agency work.
