Job Details

Campbell Tickell is proud to be recruiting to the role of:

Director of Housing Property Services - £106,497 to £120,447

Islington is a dynamic, vibrant central London borough, yet it is also a very unequal place with high levels of poverty and deep social problems. If you are passionate about fairness and adept at delivering change you could not come to a better place.

Due to the retirement of the current postholders we are recruiting two senior positions within our Housing Property Service which will help us to continue to transform the borough by helping to deliver decent homes so that people can achieve their potential and enjoy a good quality of life. For both roles we are looking for someone who has achieved significant success at a senior level and can drive forward one of our highest corporate priorities for our 35,000 homes. The postholders will be strong collaborators with experience of working with residents, politicians and partner organisations and leaders who can drive strategy, whilst keeping an eye on the detail, driving performance improvement and creating an empowering culture for staff.

Director of Housing Property Services will be responsible for the safety and maintenance of our homes, overseeing a large scale capital investment programme, a busy repairs service as well as developing our approach to reshaping the service and investment around new regulatory requirements for building safety and developing the roadmap to achieving net zero carbon in our housing stock.
