To us we’re not just a team we’re a ‘work family’.
Our brilliant manager Sam has worked for Home Group for 11 years now, starting as a support worker and working his way up to manager during that time! Outside of work Sam loves his allotment and it’s kept him sane (and fed) during the past year!
In order to meet the needs of our customers, we need to be flexible. This means you’ll work 3x days a week including weekends on a rolling rota. As we’re asking you to be flexible for us, we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!

You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. As our Supported Housing Concierge, you’ll also provide out of hours cover being the first point of contact for our clients during the evening and at times we’ll also need you to do some general cleaning duties too.
You’re passionate and happy to work with vulnerable people who are being supported to change their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative.
If you’re not the biggest fan of technology, that’s not a problem to us. You do need to know that we are quite a high-tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However, we’re glad to support you, if you need help.
When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
