ng homes is a Registered Social Landlord, Housing Association and Charitable Association based in North Glasgow, Scotland.
The Association was started in 1976 as Mansel St Monance Housing Association and over the last five decades has acted to represent, support and serve the people of the area.
With some 5500 homes across Springburn, Balornock, Possilpark and Parkhouse, ng homes sits at the heart of the North Glasgow community. We are more than just a provider of homes. We are an anchor organisation which works with the community to improve the standard of living and housing and ultimately improve the lives of our tenants. We go well beyond providing a roof over peoples’ heads; we invest heavily in the wider area and are dedicated to providing opportunities for local people.
Our long serving Chief Executive is soon to retire and we are now looking for an inspirational leader to take the organisation through the many challenges that undoubtedly lie ahead. Our new Chief Executive will also have passion, ambition and the ability to ground themselves within the daily lives of the people within our various neighbourhoods, and to understand what we need to do to further improve outcomes.
In leading ng homes, you will be a part of an Association that puts local people first and which aims to play a pioneering role in the future of Scottish social housing. We are dedicated to this cause. You will also be a part of well governed organisation and will inherit a high performing Leadership Team.
You should be well educated and come to us with significant leadership experience at an executive level gained within customer focused organisations, and preferably those providing services of social value to identifiable communities. You will have high levels of political awareness and the ability to network effectively at all levels. We work very effectively with a range of partners to maximise our positive impact and will look to you to continue this. Our next Chief Executive will also have a strong focus on the need to evidence judgment and sound governance in all decisions we take.
This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person to take their career to a new high. North Glasgow is a wonderful place to work, and its people are amongst the very best that Scotland has to offer.
In return, we offer excellent terms and conditions of employment, including a contributory pension scheme, car allowance and company health plan.
