Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn i arwain ein rhaglen buddsoddi mewn gwasanaethau a safonau tai, sy’n cynnwys cynyddu a gwella ein stoc dai a thai gwarchod, lleihau digartrefedd a gwella ansawdd bywyd tenantiaid a’n cymunedau.  

Byddwch yn gyfrifol am gyflawni ein cynlluniau uchelgeisiol ar gyfer Porth y Gorllewin, ein Safle Treftadaeth y Byd a datblygiadau Canol Tref Wrecsam.

Byddwch yn chwarae rhan hanfodol yn darparu blaenoriaethau Cynllun y Cyngor ynghyd â chyfrifoldeb penodol am ein cynlluniau uchelgeisiol i greu cymunedau ffyniannus, cryf a thai o safon uchel bawb.

Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn sy’n meddu ar sgiliau arweinyddiaeth ardderchog a gweladwy, yn ogystal â sgiliau proffesiynol a gwybodaeth i ddatblygu perthnasoedd a phartneriaethau effeithiol gydag ystod o fudd-ddeiliaid mewnol ac allanol.

Creating high quality housing and developing our property assets

Salary £89,085 – £99,565 (may be extended when certain conditions necessitate this)

Our relocation policy is also applicable to this post.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team, in a role reporting directly to the Chief Executive. You will lead on the Housing portfolio area, as well as actively contributing to our collective leadership goals to deliver long-term improvement and sustainable services for Wrexham County Borough Council.

We are looking for someone to lead our ongoing investment in housing standards and services programme which includes increasing and improving our housing stock and sheltered housing, reducing homelessness and improving the quality of life for tenants and our communities.

With lead responsibility for assets you will contribute to place shaping projects including the Wrexham Gateway, our World Heritage Site and Wrexham Town Centre developments.

You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our Council Plan priorities along with specific responsibility for our ambitious plans to create thriving, resilient communities and high quality housing for all.

We are seeking someone with excellent visible leadership skills, in addition to professional skills and knowledge, to build effective relationships and partnerships with a range of internal and external stake holders.

You will have a proven track record of achievement in the delivery of strategic outcomes in Housing and the skills to influence and guide others.  You will have the ability to lead on cultural change, encouraging honest conversations throughout the service and promoting a ‘One Council’ culture. If you have the ability to provide strong financial, commercial and strategic support to the Council’s Officers and Members in this pivotal role, we would welcome an application from you.
