Lead Support Worker
Location: West Hampshire ? working flexibly between Lymington, Eastleigh & Andover
Full Time 37.5 hpw
Salary from £19,300 to £23,150 per annum depending on experience. Plus sleep in shifts of £35.00
£9.87 to £11.17 per hour (depending on experience) if you?d prefer to work on our bank on a casual basis

We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team who support our customers who have mental ill health, living in their own self-contained flats with shared facilities. Properties are located in close proximity to Lymington Town Centre, Eastleigh Town Centre and Andover Town Centre.
We help our customers develop greater independence and self-management of their daily living skills alongside their mental and physical health. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need, to successfully move on. Together we?ll make a difference!
About our team
You?ll be working alongside our team who are passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrate their achievements. To us were not just a team we?re a work family. Our manager Sarah, has a wealth of experience in working with our customer group. There are 29 of us in the team and we don?t just love to support our customers, we?re there for each other too!
Working hours - 24/7 service
We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. You?ll work on a rota basis and take your turn working days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays as well as sleep in shifts. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.
You?ll be passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You?ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
You?ll help change our customer?s lives for the better by undertaking risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. You?ll create bespoke and personalised support plans with and for your customers. Each plan will look to meet our customer?s individual needs and aspirations, making sure they meet safeguarding and confidentiality requirements. You?ll also have responsibility for coordinating our support workers, apprentices and volunteers, and working collaboratively with external agencies, to assess and engage support for our customers.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!) You?ll be given the latest IT kit, which could include a Surface Pro tablet and smart phone, supported by our new online integrated IT system which means that you don?t have to be in the office as you can complete support plans on the go.
To make sure our customers are well supported, it?s important that you have worked in a supported housing environment before. Don?t worry, we won?t drop you in the deep end, we?ll help to you understand how things work at Home Group!
As this is a community based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Don?t worry, we?ll pay you expenses to cover this use!
When you join, you?ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don?t have a transferrable one.
