This role

As Night Concierge you will provide overnight waking cover, be the first point of contact and provide security to customers in a supported housing scheme in Sheffield for people with mental health problems. You will be responsible for controlling access to the building, dealing with emergencies, carrying out Health and Safety checks and communicating any concerns or events to the rest of the team. This is a lone working role but you will have access to advice and support from the out-of–hours management on call service.

The position is for 34 hours a week, and you will be required to work on a rota.

Actual Salary = £17,680

What you`ll need to succeed

As this is a lone working role, experience in a similar housing management role is desirable. Any experience of supporting adults with mental health problems would be an advantage. You will need to be able to work independently and have the confidence to deal with customers who may act in an unpredictable manner You also need to be able to demonstrate a passion to deliver excellent service to vulnerable adults in a dignified manner..
