Derby City Council and Derby Homes - our Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) pride ourselves on our customer orientated approach achieving high levels of satisfaction from our tenants and leaseholders.

With an existing stock of some 12,500 homes we have the ambition to significantly increase our new build programme whilst also investing in our existing homes to ensure they meet our decarbonisation targets.

To help realise these and other objectives, we are looking for someone to lead the Council’s strategic thinking in relation to Derby’s HRA business plan and it’s investment in excess of £100M over the next three Years. You will be the formal partnership manager between the Council and Derby Homes and will also assess and develop new initiatives and opportunities as they arise.

You could have a housing, financial, or other related background, but the key to your success will be your ability to develop, in partnership with Derby Homes and others, a clear vision for our investment priorities and have the energy, resilience and people skills to drive our new plans forward.

Not only can we offer flexible working hours and home working arrangements but we will also consider applications from those wishing to work part-time or on a job-share basis.
