We're recruiting for a BIM Technician to join our Fire Projects Team at Clarion.

You'll support the BIM Coordinator in developing and delivering processes to digitise our built assets through the creation of 3D models of Clarion's stock with data linked.

We'll look to you to create 3D models that can be utilised for asset management by creating individual architectural models from point cloud data and collated information, undertaking model management and administration and attaching surveying data to tagged elements.

With your solid understanding of BIM working processes, you'll support the Property Services BIM lead and BIM Coordinator to advise on BIM best practices, systems and workflows.

Other responsibilities will include:-

  • Identifying and integrating new solutions to improve processes
  • Helping define data capture standards
  • Setting up automated reports to distribute to relevant stakeholders

We're looking for passionate and organised individuals with proven experience of creating accurate 3D models using architectural software packages. With demonstrable working experience of modelling residential buildings, you'll have an understanding of technical aspects of construction and building services. You'll also need experience of analysing building related data and developing projects based on the technical requirements using industry standard formats.
