Do you want to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation that works to provide housing and tenancy related support to people experiencing Domestic abuse issues?

Our Kent Domestic Abuse Service is currently looking for a Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Sittingbourne. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity.

Clarion is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to build a career working for one of Europe's largest housing associations. Alongside providing general needs housing Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. Our work supporting individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse offers our customers the opportunity to move on and live fulfilled, safe lives following the trauma they've experienced. The role of Support Officer whilst challenging at times, is an extremely rewarding one.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome candidates with experience in the housing and support sector. But we're also looking for people who may not have this experience but have the qualities and skills we feel would most benefit our customers; professionalism, empathy and understanding, life experience and a desire to develop their own knowledge and skills to best support our customers.

As a Support Officer, you'll work alongside colleagues in supported housing or outreach services in Kent. This will include helping families to stay safe from abuse, enabling access to welfare benefits and help with debt, provide emotional support and help to seek and apply for more permanent housing. Working for Clarion as part of the Kent team you will be delivering exceptional support services to our customers.

A full training package will be provided to new members of our team to help them develop the skills to become a great support officer.

If you feel you have the qualities we're looking for we'd love to hear from you.
