It is an exciting time to join the Health and Housing Team, as you will play a significant role in the revision of our Housing Strategy and in the success of our ambitious service delivery plans.

The Health and Housing Strategy Officer role is dedicated to the development and delivery of key health and housing programmes including:

  • Disabled Facilities Grants,
  • Warmer Homes Stafford,
  • Housing Strategy,
  • Housing Assistance,
  • Health in All. 

You should be able to demonstrate: a strong track record in developing, delivering and evaluating health or housing programmes; have a good understanding of the housing responsibilities of the local authority which contribute to health improvement. 

Key Skills & Qualifications:            

  • A degree in a relevant area with a research element or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in public sector Health or Housing Service.
  • Experience of delivering innovative housing and / or health projects
  • Good partnership working skills and ability to work with a broad range of organisations
  • Ability to manage projects, timelines and work to deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills (MSOffice)
