Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Salary from £28,500 to £43,400 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join in our new role of Aftercare Team Leader, leading our Aftercare team specialising in defects and handover quality. You’ll provide an outstanding defect management service for our customers leading up to and following the purchase of their new home. This is an exciting time to join us, as we build the right homes in the right places for our customers. You’ll drive a strong customer led culture which ensures a positive brand for our Persona homes and enables us to achieve our aspiration of becoming a 5-star rated builder.

You’ll manage our portfolio of handovers and reported defects for all of our new build properties from handover to the end of the defects liability period. This includes outright sale and shared ownership under our private sales brand Persona and homes for rent under our Home Group brand. Your team will exceed customer expectations, achieve 90%+ satisfaction ratings and ensure a positive brand image. You’ll use your strong technical knowledge to analyse and report on any defect trends, identifying and resolving any issues. You’ll support our Lead Aftercare Manager in effectively managing external contractors and consultants with rigour, ensuring high standards of work and timely resolution of defects and snags. 

About our team

You’ll report to our new Lead Aftercare Manager (we are currently recruiting to this role too). Steve, is our Head of Marketing and Customer Experience who is passionate about marketing and sales and has over 25 years’ experience in the field. We don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too!

A bit about you

You’ll have a strong technical background in defects and aftercare for newly built homes with a fantastic working knowledge of NHBC, LABC, premier warranties, building regulations, defects and snagging. With a professional qualification such as RICS or COIB or equivalent, you’ll really impress us with your background in delivering high quality aftercare services for customers and driving continuous improvement.
