DEVELOPING FUTURES

Have you got the skills and experience in development that we need to get stuck in and make our ambitions a reality? Join our team and you’ll be doing exactly that. You’ll also be helping to tackle the housing crisis head-on by delivering ‘Great places, great services and great tomorrows’.

Futures Housing Group is one of the leading affordable housing providers across the East Midlands. We’ve launched an ambitious new corporate plan that aims to build 300 new homes a year backed-up by funding from a recent refinancing deal.

We’re looking for a Development Officer – New Business to identify, negotiate and secure new development opportunities, working collaboratively with the New Markets team and Programme Delivery team to obtain new opportunities so you’ll be a housing, construction or building related professional who’ll find with us the perfect platform to showcase the skills gained in your career so far.

If you’re successful you’ll be joining our fantastic, award-winning team and be part of a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include agile working, private healthcare options, discount schemes together with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally. But the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.

We are currently based in Derbyshire but will be moving to a state-of-the-art, flexible new workspace off junction 24 later this year!

We’ve also recently signed up to Harry’s Pledge, a campaign to support people who are working but also looking after a friend or family member who needs extra help. This could be an elderly parent, a friend with mental health issues, or a parent carer who looks after a disabled child, to name a few.

We know balancing work and caring is tough and that’s why we have an extra focus on supporting team members in this situation. To help, we organise regular virtual support groups, have an Employee Assistance Scheme with 24/7 counselling, and offer Flexible Working from day one, helping you to stay happy at work and at home.
