Job Details
Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation, formed in January 2015 to manage around 11,700 homes on behalf of Northampton Borough Council. An opportunity has arisen to join the Governance and Corporate Support Team, providing the Board, and its subsidiary company – Happy To Help (Northampton) with governance and administrative support. The role includes full administration of Committee and Board meetings which are usually held in the evenings every quarter; completing pre and post meeting activities and attending the meetings to take accurate minutes and actions.
Within this diverse role, you will also be responsible for dealing with a wide range of enquiries and duties, to include
- Reporting and administrative support for the provision of legal advice
- Collating information relating to insurance claims and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting contract procurement and contract monitoring activity
- Providing reception duties as required
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrable experience of working with diverse stakeholders. You will have an ability to prioritise, multi-task and co-ordinate workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Uppermost, you need to be passionate about making a difference to Northampton’s council tenants.

Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that is responsible for the management of Council housing services.
From 5th January 2015, Northampton Partnership Homes (NPH) has been managing the provision of all the housing services of Northampton Borough Council (NBC) related to its own stock.
NPH is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation that is wholly owned by the Council but has its own Board of Directors. It is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) and is a not for profit organisation. This means that income will be put back into providing housing and housing related services.
NPH has been set up by NBC for an initial period of 15 years and is responsible for the following services:
- Allocations and Lettings
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Housing Management, including dealing with anti-social behaviour
- Tenancy Support
- Tenant Involvement
- Ecton Lane Park traveller site
