Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we’re now looking for a Property Surveyor to join us.

Our Property Surveyors are responsible for ensuring delivery of a customer focused service, delivering planned, capital and cyclical works programmes, responsive repairs and void works to properties, maximising satisfaction levels while complying with policies, procedures and financial regulations. You’ll manage complex refurbishment and decent homes programmes including initial consultations, monitoring on site, agreeing final accounts and rectifying defects.

Our Team

The team you’ll join is a really lovely close-knit team of seven. We’re led by the Asset Operations Manager and as well as providing support to the organisation, we support each other too.

About You

We’re looking for someone who holds a recognised construction related qualification and who has proven experience of managing building contractors, preferably in a social housing related environment, although this is not essential.  Able to work well on own initiative, you will have experience of delivering a customer focused service and of budget control, ensuring value for money is achieved. An understanding of Construction (Design and Management) regulations and issues surrounding Health & Safety in construction is important.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as is access to a car for business use.
