Do you have a sound knowledge of Rents and Service Charge legislation and accounting? Are you able to achieve strenuous performance targets and deliver at pace?

Clarion Housing provides a range of affordable housing options primarily to those who have been let down by the private sector. With 120,000 homes in management, residents pay a rent and service charge as part of their tenancy or lease agreements.

As a Service Charge Analyst, you'll be part of a team working with colleagues across the group to ensure all relevant costs are identified, coded to the correct cost allocation pool and checked for completeness. You'll also ensure that rent charges are correctly charged for each tenure type and are reviewed in accordance with the Rent Standard, associated legislation and any applicable tenancy agreements.

The part you'll play is pivotal to ensuring that residents have affordable homes to live in. Working with Development, Housing and Mechanical and Electrical teams you'll gain a thorough understanding of new schemes being built and the services being provided, in order to ensure correct rent and accurate estimates for service charges for all new build properties.

Working with business managers you'll have excellent communication skills and be a confident communicator. With a high level of initiative, enthusiasm and motivation along with project and time management skills, you'll be committed to achieving results and ensuring quality of service delivery.

With experience of delivering accurate financial information and using Excel to manipulate large volumes of data you'll assist with regulatory statistical and data returns and provide accurate estimation and reconciliation of all service charges.

As a par qualified finalist from a recognised CCAB Institute you'll use your analytical techniques to perform reconciliations between various data sets to identify any inconsistencies between charges for rents and services, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
