We have been successful in securing funding through Islington Council to remodel our Homeless Complex Needs provision with a new contract.. This exciting new contract will enable support to be delivered in a trauma informed way to achieve positive move on and outcomes for those worked with.

Working on a rota basis across 3 accommodation sites in Islington supporting 50 households you will provide both accommodation based and visiting support.

We are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker secondment/fixed term position to work either during the day with shifts ranging from: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm and 2pm-10pm; or working waking night shifts from 9.30pm-8.30am. All post holders will be required to work a rolling rota to include weekends and bank holidays (approx. every other week).

This is a 6 months fixed term contract. Offered as a secondment opportunity for Peabody employees.

If you’re passionate about working with those who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals, can manage expectations; and are able to deliver and accurately record agreed outcomes then this could be the role for you.

Pro Rata explained: A ‘pro rata’ salary is calculated from what you would earn if you were working full time. You will be paid a proportion of the displayed full-time salary.
