PROTECTING FUTURES
We are on the hunt for an Assurance & Risk Manager to join our growing and vibrant Governance and Assurance team.
You’ll be looking to develop your leadership skills and showcase your background in assurance, audit, risk management and compliance.
You’re going to want to be involved in leading the development and implementation of an effective assurance framework and take ownership of partnering across our business to coordinate the Group’s strategic assurance and risk management processes.
You’ll put your people skills to good use, working with a variety of partners across the Group, liaising with internal auditors and reporting to our executive team and Audit & Risk Committee.
Does this sound like the role for you? If so, take a look at our full role profile.
If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include agile working, private healthcare options, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.
We are currently based in Derbyshire but will be moving to a state-of-the-art, flexible new workspace near East Midlands Airport later this year.
This year Futures has been awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award – the highest of IiP accreditation. The award recognises organisations which are passionate about making sure all employees get the best experience at work. Meeting the IiP criteria of improving, leading and supporting its people, has resulted in this prestigious accreditation that only a few employers receive.
We’ve also recently signed up to Harry’s Pledge, a campaign to support people who are working but also looking after a friend or family member who needs extra help. This could be an elderly parent, a friend with mental health issues, or a parent carer who looks after a disabled child, to name a few. We know balancing work and caring is tough and that’s why we have an extra focus on supporting team members in this situation. To help, we organise regular virtual support groups, have an Employee Assistance Scheme with 24/7 counselling, and offer Flexible Working from day one, helping you to stay happy at work and at home.
We may contact candidates or close the advertisement prior to the closing date.
