We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced advice or tenancy support worker to establish a new role which is all about identifying and putting in place the right solutions to support our tenants to help them achieve successful tenancies. This could cover anything from financial inclusion, mental health, safeguarding, employment, training, and volunteering opportunities, or a combination as often there are many issues at play.
You will work with some of our most vulnerable households to ensure they are able to manage their tenancies independently, and can contribute positively to the communities they live in. An understanding and appreciation of the challenges and issued faced by social housing tenants would be an advantage.
You will need to be a self-starter who can identify new, innovative, and sensitive ways to engage with people across a wide range of backgrounds. Your inclusive and collaborative approach will be key to building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies, so that appropriate and tailored interventions and support is provided for individuals.
