Broadstairs, Kent
Pay rate from £9.72 to £11.76 per hour (paid weekly!)

You’ll be supporting our amazing customers as part of our flexible bank, picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.
You will be supporting our wonderful customer, a gentleman in his 40’s, who is fun and bubbly at heart. He is looking for an equally as bubbly team to provide support and encouragement, helping him enjoy the best quality of life through assisting with daily living activities and increasing his independence. He has a wide range of interests and loves to be outdoors interacting with people. He also has a passion for football and thinks Tottenham Hotspurs are “the best team in the world” so anyone who shares this point of view would go down an absolute treat. His family are incredibly important to him and will work closely to improve his future health and wellbeing, our customer is considered as the primary focus in every decision made to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.

Where you’ll work
With flexibility in the hours and days that you want to work, you’ll work primarily with our one customer in his own home in Broadstairs as well as supporting them in the community. But there will also be opportunities to work with our other customers in Kent! 
There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting him to achieve his hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans. You’ll go home each day knowing that you’ve made an amazing difference, how amazing is that!

How it works
Working on our bank, you’ll be able to pick and choose your shifts that you can work from those available in your area. You can do this on the go via your mobile!

About our team
You’ll be working alongside our Regional Transforming Care Manager, and Lucy our Deputy Manager, as well as our brand-new team of PBS Support Workers and clinical colleagues who are super passionate about supporting our customer to reach their goals and celebrate their achievements. 

About you
You’ll be flexible to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift working hours that fit around your current commitments. The great news is that you’ll be gaining loads of experience working with our brilliant colleagues and customer. 
It’s important that you have worked in a similar role in a supported housing environment before, are willing to provide personal care and have experience of helping customers to reach their full potential. You’ll have a great understanding of professional boundaries, risk assessments and supporting your customers to enjoy the best possible quality of life.  Ideally, you’ll hold a level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.  
When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.

Our pay rates are based on Living Wage Foundation rate which means you’ll be paid a fair hourly rate for every hour that you work, and your rate even includes a payment towards your holiday pay!
