This role

We are recruiting for a Project Surveyor to assist the Head of Planned Investment in the planned and cyclical programme of the Group’s housing stock. You will specifically procure, manage and delivery of planned and cyclical works contracts, progress special projects/contracts, in time and to budget for all tenure types.

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete a basic background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, once an offer of employment is made.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Educated to degree level, HNC/D, Building Studies/Surveying or equivalent in Building Studies or Surveying or similar experience
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to write reports.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and Partnering contracts and project administration.
  • Ability to use computers for cost control, project management and to manipulate data within databases
  • Ability to diagnose and specify remedies of property defects.
  • Years post qualification property management, building surveying experience.
