We have a fantastic opportunity for an Economic Inclusion Lead to join our teamThis role is currently based from home due to COVID 19 until further notice. Peabody plans to move to a hybrid model of working which means that once our office refurbishment has been completed, the role will be part office (Kings Cross) and part home based. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £43,000 per annum.

About the Economic Inclusion Lead role:

Reporting to the Economic Inclusion Manager, you will work in both strategic and operational capacities, developing and maintaining partnerships with relevant, influential, borough-based and pan London organisations across the public, voluntary and private sectors to support the availability and accessibility of local services and opportunities. 

Responsibilities of our Economic Inclusion Lead:

- Collecting, tracking and reporting monthly Economic Inclusion KPIs, checking data consistency across the Economic Inclusion Team and producing monthly updates for trackers and quarterly returns

- Leading the PCF approach to supporting economic inclusion across defined LAPs

- Leading PCF activity on the Community Investment Partnership supporting its effective delivery across LAP areas

- Working effectively with co-investors/partners to proactively develop the enterprise offer across PCF, ensuring its effective promotion evaluation and adaptation where necessary

- Supporting new business and social value leads to integrate opportunities across economic activity

- Working with relevant stakeholders to co-ordinate and develop a coherent programme of skills for the defined LAP areas

- Facilitating the delivery of the local employment offer for defined LAP areas supporting improved access to higher-value opportunities

- Ensuring Peabody-run services and initiatives are of the highest quality and make a real difference to residents and the community

- Contributing to ensuring our strategy addresses the priorities of our residents and economic stakeholders ensuring they are effectively involved in decision making at all levels

- Leading on the development of our relevant local relationships with strategic partners within the local authorities, and across sectors to maximise their contribution to programmes and the services and opportunities available

- Contributing to the development of sustainable funding models for the long-term, proactively seeking out funding opportunities, co-investment and influencing opportunities

- Ensuring economic inclusion activity is effectively monitored, evaluated, reported, and promoted working with central communications, audit & programme teams

- Coordinating research with residents and stakeholders to identify their priorities and perceptions including

What we’re looking for in our Economic Inclusion Lead:

- A track record of developing and delivering complex programmes that aim to improve health, wellbeing and support community development outcomes at individual and systems levels

- Leadership skills and a track record of effective staff management

- A track record of developing and maintaining significant senior partnerships within the public, private and voluntary sectors and an ability to manage strategic stakeholders

- Experience of developing new projects and excellent project management skills

- The ability to think analytically and work strategically to support a complex partnership to achieve its long-term goals

- An understanding of the evidence base on improving health and well-being outcomes and of the evidence base on supporting community sector growth and community-led activity

- Experience of demonstrating the impact of projects/services and meeting the demands of funders/evaluators

- Awareness of effectively safeguarding children and in-depth knowledge of best practice
