Rooftop Housing are looking for a Safety and Compliance Officer to play a key role in the effective and timely delivery of landlord health, safety and compliance inspections and servicing programmes.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Compliance, you will update and maintain accurate records of compliance servicing programmes, health and safety data to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
You will work with the Team Leader – Compliance and the Health & Safety Officer to monitor audit programmes for contractors and ensure that mitigating actions are taken to prevent any properties from falling out of compliance.
Our Safety and Compliance Officer must have a strong customer focus with experience of updating databases accurately as well as compiling information and interrogating systems for information. With pro-active problem-solving skills, you will have highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise own and others workload. You’ll need to be IT literate, be able to influence others and have excellent communication skills.
Although not essential, experience of health, safety and compliance inspections and servicing programmes is desirable.
