Are you passionate about making a difference and positively impacting on people’s lives?  If you think you could work within our Arun Cares competency framework, then please read on.  As the Repairs and Maintenance Manager you will lead and manage the delivery of the Housing Repairs, Voids Service, Compliance and Planned Maintenance service, striving for a right first time approach, ensuring compliance adherence.  We are looking for a candidate who can manage the day to day responsibilities of the service, has excellent contract management skills, and can provide strong and effective leadership to take the service forward. 

We are looking for a candidate who has a background in Housing Repairs & Maintenance and can bring an in depth knowledge of delivering compliance.  We are looking for someone with endless enthusiasm who can implement a strong strategic plan.  You will report to the Group Head of Residential Services and form part of the Residential Services Management Team, who are committed to bringing about cultural change and positive outcomes for our customers and staff.

This post is based at the Civic Centre, Littlehampton, close to one of our award winning beaches. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the majority of employees currently work from home and in the future we envisage that homeworking, for at least part of the week, will continue to be an option for those who enjoy it, although this may be subject to change and the base for this role will still be the Civic Centre, Littlehampton.
