This role

The Senior Development Manager (SDM) role is required to lead a number of our development projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality expected for our new homes at MTVH. Reporting to and assisting the Regional Head of Delivery to help not just complete their own projects but assisting the team to ensure our collective goals are achieved. The SDM is expected to be an example to the wider team and directorate in their actions and professionalism.

MTVH are an active housing association with ambitious targets so this role will directly impact the new homes we build and ensure they are a success for our business and all our internal and external stakeholders. This role is based in Southgate working on projects within the Great London Area. You may occasionally be asked to work on projects outside of your core region.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified, ideally in a related field
• APM (PMQ) qualification or equivalent desirable
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex multi tenure schemes, on time and budget
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong intellect with the ability to analyse and act upon complex financial and non-financial information and reach speedy well-formed conclusions.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
