What you'll do

We’re looking for an exceptional Facilities Contracts Manager who wants to deliver the best-in-class services to our residents and colleagues. This exciting new role at Optivo will give you the opportunity to support our Head of Facilities in the delivery of buildings' operational requirements. You’ll have a proactive approach to Contract Management, Facilities Operational Standards, Safety, Communication and Cost Management.

You’ll be responsible for co-creating our new procurement strategy and implementing a new framework that delivers efficiencies, quality and controls and assurances for a streamlined supply chain.  You’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager and Head of Facilities to ensure all legal and statutory requirements are met with regards to our systems, services and occupancy of the buildings.

Working collaboratively with the Director of Asset Management and the Head of Facilities on integrating a new supply chain within a new CAFM system, designing and implementing new processes and procedures.  You’ll also have the fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Procurement and H&S teams to ensure prospective suppliers are vetted and meet our supplier standards.

 What you'll need

You’ll have a proven track record and relevant experience of managing contractors/support functions and outsourced service providers. With an In-depth understanding of framework arrangements, various contract provisions and SLAs with service providers. This role will require a high level of analysis to ensure all contracts are fit for purpose and vendors are abiding by agreed pricing, terms and conditions.

You’ll ideally be a Member of Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, and have demonstrable knowledge and experience in facilities supply chain management.

You’ll have the ability to manage, motivate and inspire staff and service providers focussing them on successful outcomes. And have an understanding of customer needs and the drivers of customer satisfaction in a large and complex organisation.
