Are you a motivated and commercially focused Affordable Housing development specialist looking for a new and exciting challenge?

We are looking for an experienced Affordable Housing Programme Officer to join our Development team based in London on a full time, permanent basis.

About the role

This is a key role where you will assist with the delivery of Clarion's Affordable Homes Programme with the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Homes England (HE), acting as a central point of contact for the Group's development activities. You'll assist with the monitoring and administration of the development programme on IMS and OPS, ensuring all HE and GLA targets are delivered on time and in line with statutory and internal compliance requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Assisting with the submission of bids for external funding to the GLA, HE and other funders

  • Assisting with reporting, monitoring and administration of development programmes on the GLA's Open Project System (OPS) and HE's Investment Management System (IMS), ensuring information and submissions are compliant, timely and accurate.

  • Administering the Help to Buy programme and purchase incentive schemes on IMS

  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with our leads at the GLA and HE, and with the wider development team at Clarion.

  • Meeting the requirements of public and private funding and regulators and work within the Group financial regulations.

  • Maintaining a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulation, procedures, current and emerging best practice for the area of responsibility.

About you

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience of working within a high performing Development team. You will have experience of administering development programmes and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of OPS, IMS, the Capital Funding Guide and Regulatory Requirements is a key requirement.
