The Assets Directorate is responsible for delivery of Clarion's £111m investment plans nationally. These investment plans are designed to deliver Clarion's Asset and Sustainability Strategies which includes meeting the objectives of the Clarion 2040 Strategy. The works in these plans include for traditional component replacement programmes, multiple capital item projects, remodelling of dwellings in blocks, deep retrofit schemes, mechanical & electrical projects, complex engineering projects.

All of these works are carried out across multiple tenure types and varying geographical locations and we proactively work with stakeholders to enable delivery of our investment plans and demonstrate exceptional clienting methods.

To ensure we meet these objectives, we're looking for a Strategic Programme Analyst to join the team in London on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing

As a Strategic Programme Analyst, your job will be to ensure we have a range of comprehensive and up to date information on the performance condition of our assets and to develop strategies for future work programmes. This will include the provision and maintenance of suitable systems. You'll work together with key stakeholders across the organisation to lead the development of regional investment plans and you'll deputise for the Programme Manager when required.

Further duties include: -

  • Develop and utilise appropriate tools to understand, performance, costs and risk and of the asset portfolio (value £22bn) assets. Using the tools, participate in asset-related risk identification, analysis and management processes and contingency planning, seeking to optimise the performance of assets with lifecycle costs at the heart of decision making processes.

  • Lead in the development and detailed analysis of asset data projects, including repairs, maintenance, servicing, energy data and planned investment programmes, using complex, multi-sourced data to understand areas of current and emerging under-performance, making clear recommendations to improve the efficiency and performance of Clarion Homes, reducing the overall annual cost per unit of the portfolio.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role you will already have knowledge and experience of housing systems, business planning and asset management systems. You'll have experience of supporting the delivery of asset investment programmes and have excellent project management skills. You should have strong IT database skills and an understanding of building standards, planning regulations and leasehold legislation. You'll have excellent communication skills with experience of working with people of all levels and making clear recommendations.
