Are you looking for the perfect opportunity to get established as a Customer Service professional? Do you have an appetite for learning through the Apprenticeship Scheme?  If so, we may have just the job for you! We’re looking for Customer Service Apprentices to join our fabulous team in Horsham!   

You’ll be based at our modern, vibrant office in the heart of the historic Horsham town; being a convenient location which is close to a selection of shops, bars and restaurants and just a 5-minute walk from the train station. You’ll work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday – one day per week solely dedicated to your Apprenticeship studies. This contract will run for the duration of the Apprenticeship course.

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you’ll primarily have responsibility for carrying out customer satisfaction surveys to ensure we’re providing the best services to our customers and identify areas for improvement. You’ll be a self-starter who works well to deadlines and strives to achieve your monthly target! You’ll also be involved in a variety of other areas such as tenancy changes, housing benefit overpayments, former tenant credits and council tax demands.

This truly is an excellent gateway into Housing as we’ll provide you with the opportunity to learn all about the various services we offer, which will help you to determine your future career path. And as customer service is at the heart of every role, with your recognised qualification as a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner (upon successful completion of your Apprenticeship) you can go far!

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive can-do attitude with desire to learn
  • IT literate, able to pick up new systems quickly
  • A great team player but can work well using own initiative
  • Polite, courteous and approachable, good telephone manner
  • Organised, able to multi-task and work to deadlines/targets
  • Able to attend regular training at college in line with post
