An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate as the Council's Rough Sleeper Co-ordinator at the London Borough of Bromley. This is a key role within the service, with the responsibility for leading and managing the Council's strategy on ending rough sleeping in the borough.

You will be a strong communicator who will be required to work with all stakeholders to deliver an efficient and effective prevention of Rough Sleeping Programme and be able to evidence the beneficial results for service users. You will also have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable people, as well as a good working knowledge of the housing and homelessness legislation.

The post is based within the Housing Options Service however, you will lead and develop a strong partnership across health, social care and community safety, as well as liaising with other statutory and voluntary sector agencies. This will assist you in ensuring that the overall project outcomes are met.

This rewarding job will suit applicants who have a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable people, management experience or supervisory skills and an understanding of the need to resolve housing problems faced by rough sleepers with complex needs.

We are looking for someone who is conscientious, adaptable and keen to lead an innovative team to make a positive difference and drive the service forward whilst establishing a single homeless pathway to provide early interventions to prevent homelessness.
