SALARY: £49,338 - £62,321pa

JOB LOCATION: Croydon - this is a regional role covering South London. There will be a mix of home working, office working and site visits in line with business needs.

HOURS: 36 hours per week

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

The Assets Directorate is responsible for delivery of Clarion's £111m investment plans nationally. These investment plans are designed to deliver the Clarion's Asset and Sustainability Strategies which includes meeting the objectives of the Clarion 2040 Strategy. The works in these plans include for traditional component replacement programmes, multiple capital item projects, remodelling of dwellings in blocks, deep retrofit schemes, mechanical & electrical projects, complex engineering projects.

All of these works are carried out across multiple tenure types and varying geographical locations and we proactively work with stakeholders to enable delivery of our investment plans and demonstrate exceptional clienting methods.

About the role

To ensure we meet these objectives, we're looking for a Lead Planned Investment Manager to manage the team responsible for delivering effective short and long term investment programmes. The team are responsible for effective pre-planning and the delivery of multiple works projects and programmes to ensure they are provided within agreed timescales and budget.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage, guide and support a team ensuring that clear and agreed plans and objectives are in place to deliver exceptional customer service and quality through the delivery of investment projects and programmes

  • Develop, plan and prepare 18 month detailed rolling planned investment programmes of work that align to Clarion's Asset strategies, including the delivery of any applicable stock condition surveys

  • Develop, in conjunction with Planned Investment Partnership Manager and stakeholders 5 year programme based on a borough by borough delivery approach

  • Manage delivery of projects and programmes using the Exceptional Client key stages and methodology

  • Review policies, processes and procedures ensuring that they are fit for purpose

  • Manage and monitor expenditure and budgets to ensure cost effectiveness is kept at all times

  • Resolve more complex queries/cases and provides conflict resolution to avoid escalation and to remedy promptly within SLA's

About you

To be successful in this role you'll have substantial experience in contract management within a planned investment delivery context. You'll have prior experience of managing high performing teams that are customer focused and work collaboratively with stakeholders in planning and delivering large projects. You'll be knowledgeable in the use of open book cost models for planned investment contract delivery and you'll be highly analytical with good problem solving skills. We'd also like to hear from you if you have a recognised qualification in a property related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
